An interesting photoshoot with actor James Gillan, creating and modelling his alter ego, drag artist Maddison Lee.

As an actor James has starred in many London West End musicals, including Starlight Express, Wicked and Tommy.

He also performs regularly as Maddison, singing in cabaret shows. His transformation throughout the make up process was marvellous to watch, as James was both meticulous and patient during the various stages.

Once made up and into his numerous costumes, he made the photography easy with his intuitive, almost choreographed, movements and poses.
